Kathy Wierzchowski serves as the Outreach Coordinator for University Health Services (UHS) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In this capacity, Dr. Wierzchowski works with various RSOs on campus and also facilitates and provides training to BSN's peer leaders, covering mental health topics and peer leadership facilitation, among other areas. In addition to her primary role, she acts as the advisor for UHS's Mental Health Student Advisory Board.Â
Dr. Wierzchowski joined UHS in 2022 as a generalist mental health provider. As a therapist, she primarily employs an interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral approach, though she integrates other therapeutic orientations as appropriate to better serve her clients.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Dr. Wierzchowski enjoys reading, traveling, listening to music, attending concerts, and spending time with her friends and family.
