What We Do

because peer-support empowers

⠀ Join a Group! ⠀

Our Mission is to create a resilient community that supports each other's identity, mental health and well-being, and day-to-day lives. Our goal more broadly is to reduce the harsh social stigmas, financial burdens, and timing inconveniences that have long hindered discussing topics related to our health and well-being.

Badger Support Groups

Badger Support Groups are designed to provide an accessible, inclusive, and confidential environment where students are encouraged to share their thoughts and experiences openly. All our groups are drop-in, meaning there are NO sign-ups, commitment, or stigma!

Our Peer Facilitators receive training from UW-Madison's University Health Services and Mental Health Services. They are equipped to foster an atmosphere conducive to meaningful, honest, and personal dialogue characterized by empathy, respect, and safety.

Craft Nights

We facilitate bi-weekly Craft-Nights, designed to provide fun and community building to our entire campus! Some of our favorites include bracelet making, air dry clay creations, nature walks, and affirmation cups.

Collaborations

We collaborate with many other RSOs and campus units to further our mental health advocacy. Our mission truly comes to life through heartfelt collaboration with our friends, advisors, alumni, and family members. Together, we create a supportive and thriving community.
