Executive 🏆
The Executive Director leads the strategic vision and operations of Badger Supports, ensuring its operations align with the organization’s mission to foster mental health and community support.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing and implementing strategic planning across all directorates.
Organizing leadership socials to strengthen team cohesion and engagement.
Managing organizational growth, partnerships, and key initiatives.
Supporting peer-facilitated groups and community-building events.
Representing BSN in university and external collaborations.
Executive Director: Nicholas Sinn
Business Development 📈
Directors & Coordinators of Business Development are responsible for managing the budget, leading fundraising efforts, and fostering relationships with alumni and donors. They also coordinate events and campaigns, analyze financial data, and adapt strategies to achieve Badger Supports' financial goals.
Key responsibilities may include:
Oversee financial planning, grants, and budgeting processes
Develop and implement strategic fundraising initiatives, including campaigns and events, to secure financial support from donors, alumni, and other stakeholders.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with alumni and donors
Analyze financial data, providing regular reports and recommendations to the Leadership team.

Director of Business Development: Logan Burwell
Marketing 💌
Directors & Coordinators of Marketing are responsible for planning, development, and implementation of all Badger Supports marketing, communications and public relations activities.
Key responsibilities may include:
Develop and implement social media strategies, create engaging content, and respond to inquiries.
Manage and execute email communications
Create, update, and carry out a strategic communications plans to strengthen our visual identity, raise program awareness, and boost visibility.
Design graphics, ensuring consistent brand identity

Director of Marketing: Mia Braico
Operations ⚙️
Directors & Coordinators of Operations facilitate the day-to-day functioning of Badger Supports. They manage all operational matters, supporting various directorates.
Key responsibilities may include:
Design and maintain our website
Create room reservations for events and Badger Support Groups.
Analyze information and data; make recommendations to improve functioning
Manage our office in the Student Activity Center
Maintain strong relationships with the university, our advisors, and our partners.
Collaborate with the Business Development team on donor and alumni relations to ensure continuous support and engagement.

Director of Operations: Nicholas Sinn
Outreach 🌎
Directors & Coordinators of Outreach facilitate community engagement and collaboration with other organizations.
Key responsibilities may include:
Conduct outreach to other student organizations to build relationships and set up collaborations
Act as the main contact for media and outreach efforts with the campus community.
Develop and execute PR strategies, manage media outreach, and maintain outreach lists.
Organize and execute tabling events, including at org fairs

Programming 📝
Directors & Coordinators of Programming are responsible for creating and implementing Badger Supports' core programming: Badger Support Groups, Craft Nights, and Mental Health Workshops.
Key responsibilities may include:
Develop and speak at workshops on key mental health topics that meet the needs of the community and partner RSOs.
Design and execute engaging Craft Nights, assist in logistics such as venue selection and scheduling, and work with peer leaders to improve and develop these events.
Collaborate with Wellness & Support leaders to develop and deliver comprehensive training and weekly programming for peer facilitators.

Director of Programming: Lucy Heideman
Wellness & Support 🎗️
Directors & Coordinators of Wellness & Support develop and implement comprehensive wellness and support programs within Badger Supports. They focus on promoting mental health, well-being, and resilience among students, ensure the delivery of effective peer-support services, and manage crisis intervention as needed.
Key responsibilities may include:
Collaborate with MHS & UHS to design and implement training initiatives to help Peer Facilitators effectively support their peers.
Create and implement plans to increase efficacy of peer support initiatives by regularly updating and maintaining training documents.
Facilitate check-ins and ongoing support for Badger Supports members & leaders.
Serve as the primary contact for crisis situations involving students, develop and communicate crisis management protocols to all staff and peer leaders, and coordinate immediate support and follow-up care to students in crisis.

Director of Wellness & Support: Tatiana Mamalakis
Peer Facilitators ♥️
Peer Facilitators are the backbone of our Badger Support Groups and workshops. They facilitate welcoming, inclusive discussions that validate and affirm fellow students in their day-to-day college experience.
Key responsibilities may include:
Attend training at the beginning of each semester
Facilitate Badger Support Groups once per week and/or facilitate workshops on an as-needed basis
Support fellow students' mental health by sharing your experiences and offering a safe, stigma-free space for students to feel heard and supported.
Communicate with other Badger Supports leaders
Attend craft nights and special events when able
