Lucy Heideman is the Director of Programming. In her role, she helps Badgers connect and support each other through peer support groups. She works on creating weekly programming and organizing community events that make students feel heard and supported. Lucy learned to support fellow students through Hope Squad, a peer-to-peer suicide prevention initiative. She is trained in the QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) crisis intervention method. 

Lucy is a Communication Arts major on the Communication Science and Rhetorical Studies track. She is interested in writing, video production, and social media marketing, especially within the theatre community. 

Lucy is a lifelong lover of music and currently sings in UW-Madison's Chorale. Her bucket list includes visiting all of America's National Parks (she's been to 31 and counting)! Lucy also loves to hike, perform onstage, make art, and shop at antique stores.
