Jake Weiss is a Programming Director. In his role, he coordinates events designed to unite Badgers in raising awareness about meaningful conversations on mental health, creating a supportive forum for learning from and supporting each other's experiences. Jake is a medical student at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, interested in psychiatry and family medicine.  

Jake has several years of work experience in mental health as a mental health practitioner and counselor at Intensive Residential Treatment Facilities in the Twin Cities. He also volunteers with Madison's MEDIC free medical clinics and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County as a Big and an event organizer board member.  

Outside of his academics, Jake loves to exercise, be outside, travel, and spend time with friends and family.
